How much internship? Requirements for specific vocational learning in the Czech Republic
Original language description
This study deals with the requirements for a specific vocational learning in the Czech Republic. In this respect it shows what the empirical status of these requirements is with regard to the job offers offered on a local labour market. A database containing the biggest job-offering web portals in the Czech Republic was used as a source of information for this analysis. The study provides information on the differentiation of these requirements on the basis of three different characteristics: (1) job classification, (2) job occupation and (3) job position, with a particular focus on the jobs in the field of education and upbringing. We believe that the findings of this research study have important implications for the strategies of adult education because they have a major influence on the requirements that are imposed on a work experience of an individual.
