This study deals with a specific aspect of an interview with a focus group. The aim was to concentrate on the educational aspect of perceived professional competence of social activation workers working with an endangered family. The focus group was implemented in order to generate professional survey items for use in a survey on &quot;Self-efficacy&quot;. There were found 44 important formulations among 10 participants, which, by their content, are telling of the professional competence of employees, with a focus on the educational area of work in caring for children in families. Dispersed replicas will be used when creating a research tool as a part of one of three dimensions for measuring the professional competence of social activation workers working with endangered families.
