Past climate dynamics and human occupation: Eurasian perspectives
Original language description
Environmental studies traditionally represent an integral and vital part of interdisciplinary Quaternary research. The present publication provides new insights on the late Quaternary climate dynamics and related landscape transformations in the Eurasianmid-latitude zone reflected by geographically-specific (palaeo)ecological, biotic and cultural diversities. The main objective is on developments of past landscapes, environmental and cultural diversity, climate change and related ecology phenomena, being the contextual background for mapping regional as well as territorial culture-historical processes. A separate issue is aimed at new analytical studies and research methods linked to environmental reconstructions.
