This paper is focused on the test of recognition of one of the oldest food brands in Austria in the region Lower Austria- the brand Gutes vom Bauernhof. Paper presents the results of research in the Lower Austria region realized in years 2014 and 2015. The brand Gutes vom Bauernhof is well-working food labeling system established in 1998 in the Austrian region Lower Austria. It is the typical Austrian brand for small farmers which helps to make visible the small farmers and their products. This article brings the results of the recognition by this brand by consumers inhabitants of the Lower Austria region (Region of origin of the brand Gutes vom Bauernhof).
