This book summarises the results of research focused on museum management, with a particular focus on risk management. It perceives the museum as a modern institution which, in addition to its classical heritage function (collections management), also fulfils an educational function and implements this education through experience (the experiential function of the museum). It combines academic excellence with the experience of real managers from museums and other public institutions. Additional research topics such as strategic and operational museum management and museum research management are also discussed. Case studies from day-to-day management experience are included in the publication. This research was carried out in accordance with the National Museum of Agriculture’s (NMA) Science and Research Concept, specifically Research Plan I., Activity No. 2 - Research in Museology.
