Estrogenic endocrine disruptors are exogenous substances that act like natural hormones (estrogens). Human and wildlife are exposed to chemicals with estrogenic effects in their everyday life, because this compounds represent a significant part of environmental pollution. In our study, we combined the analysis of the focus generation by the MCF-7 Focus assay method and the analysis of the differential gene expression by the qRT- PCR method. We can conclude that the combination of these methods presentsthe effective tool for the complex in vitro analysis of the estrogenic activity of the endocrine disruptors and environmental pollutants.

Endokrinní disruptory s estrogenní aktivitou jsou cizorodé látky, které působí jako přirozené estrogenní hormony. Jelikož tyto látky představují významnou část znečištění životního prostředí, člověk i ostatní živočichové jsou s nimi v každodenním kontaktu. Předkládaná studiu kombinuje MCF-7 ohniskovou analýzu a analýzu genové exprese metodou qRT-PCR. Z výsledků vyplývá, že kombinace těchto dvou metod představuje efektivní nástroj pro komplexní in vitro analýzu estrogenní aktivity endokrinních disruptorůa environmentálních polutantů.
