Monte Carlo simulations of a CZT detector for post accidental dosimetry
Original language description
The work is dedicated to Monte Carlo simulations of a CZT detector. Using the MCNP6.1 code, full-energy peak detection efficiencies were simulated for cases of small orphan sources with real physical parameters. The detector heights of 1–30 m above the ground and the source were anticipated. Additionally, simulations for surface planar sources were prepared. Based on the simulations, MDAs for selected geometries were calculated. In order to check results of simulations, measurements on site were carried out.
