Environmental Impact of Air Accidents of Aircraft up to 2000 kg MTOW
Original language description
The negative impact of aviation on the environment is constantly monitored and evaluated. Air transport affects the environment in particular by air pollution (emissions), increased noise, high fuel consumption and airport pollution. Thanks to the use of new technologies, the negative environmental impact of aviation is constantly decreasing. The article deals with the environmental impact of air accidents, especially in terms of the negative impact of air and soil contamination. The focus of the research was on aircraft up to 2000 kg MTOW, which is almost devoid of attention in the area. Obviously, a crash of a transport aircraft has a more negative impact on the environment than it is in the case of small aircraft crash, but crashes of aircraft up to 2000 kg MTOW are more frequent . We evaluated the negative environmental impact of composite materials in this study. As part of the research seven types of composite materials that are commonly used in aircraft up to 2000 kg MTOW were investigated.
