Support of multidisciplinary research study programmes for young scientists

Anotace anglicky

The aim of the project is to improve the conditions for teaching related to research in the doctoral programs of the faculty of PEF and ZF and to improve the conditions for the development of human resources in the field of research and development. The project is prepared in accordance with the National RIS3 Strategy and the Regional Annex of the JMK. The objectives of the project are based on a need analysis (Annex 28, 29, 30, 31, 32) and are linked to the objectives of the complementary research infrastructure project for young scientists. Specifically, the creation of 2 new doctoral programs and changes in the profile of graduates in 3 doctoral programs aimed at a sustainable economy using analytical and synthetic exact methods. An important element in the change of profile will be the support of the participation of foreign experts and practitioners in the creation of new or development of existing research programs, where the inclusion of these top experts as well as trainers of doctoral students will be absolutely unique. Students of doctoral studies will be better able to connect international scientific teams through foreign trainers, engage in international research activities and projects and further deepen the domain of internationalization. Research-oriented doctoral study programs will fully reflect the demands of the labor market in the area of ​​professional specialization in terms of professional application and will build the scientific and research potential utilized by key companies or public sector entities under the conditions of the JMK and the Czech Republic. Another aim is to support the most talented students of new and developed doctoral programs through one-semester foreign internships. The development of selected academic staff and post-doctoral students will be supported by their internships at foreign universities and research institutes.

Zhodnocení výsledků projektu

V rámci projektu bylo akreditováno 5 výzkumně zaměřených studijních programů. Z toho dva studijní programy byly vytvořeny nově - Automatizace řízení a informatika, European Horticulture (ve spolupráci se Zemědělskou univerzitou v Krakowě). Další tři studijní porgramy byly modernizovány - Ekonomika a management, Zahradnictví-Ph.D., Krajinářská architektura. Rozhodnutí o akreditaci byla vydána během roku 2019 a od akademického roku 2020/2021 již mají všechny uvedené studijní programy své studenty. Projekt byl realizován Provozně ekonomickou fakultou a Zahradnickou fakultou a propojil různorodé oblasti vzdělávání od informatiky a kybernetiky, přes ekonomiku a management, zemědělství, zahradnictví až po architekturu a urbanismus.
