Application of modern ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) elements for sewer systems.

Anotace anglicky

The project deals with the application of modern and progressive material UHPC (ultra-high performance concrete) in structural elements sewer systems. Advanced cement-composite material based on nano-micro particles is their high homogeneity and material parameters able to withstand environments with extreme conditions. Since conventional concrete UHPC with different fine grain structure of aggregates, accompanied by selected supplements (nanonilika, microsilica, silica fume) and the amount super-plasticisers that guarantee liquefy the mixture and reduce the water-cement ratio. Strength UHPC pressure ranges in values greater than 150 MPa. Due to the addition of dispersed reinforcement, either in the form of steel fibers or PVA fibers in the matrix is increased and tensile strength and residual strength of concrete after the first crack. Proposed elements are thus able to withstand high loads, combined with excellent durability and resistance. Elements designed and made of UHPC are due to their weight and delicacy competitive traditional elements made of steel. The emphasis in the production elements of UHPC is given to material savings, resulting in emission reductions, energy demands and reducing the consumption of raw materials. The project aims at using UHPC develop a new design elements utilized in the entire sewer system. Main product are: -Sewer covers made from UHPC - many types for various applications -Precast structural elements of the sewer systems made from UHPC Production of details of UHPC with respect to the high variability of shapes by making the type of sewer manhole covers and identify and application of suitable structural elements for sewage systems will be significant economic savings and the extension of the range on the market.It is also expected to impact the results of the project on the environment by using less material with high durability and minimization or complete elimination of maintenance.
