Hlavním cílem projektu je zvýšit vývojovou schopnost a kryotoleranci bovinních embryí produkovaných in vitro pomocí oplození oocytů s vyšší vývojovou kompetencí a modifikací podmínek jejich zrání.Finálním záměrem projektu je navrhnout efektivnější postuppřípravy a konzervace embryí skotu využitelných v reprodukci a šlechtění skotu.
