  • Annotation in Czech

The CCSphase project aims to fill knowledge gaps in the phase equilibria and transient phase behaviour for fluid mixtures relevant for carbon capture and storage (CCS) technologies. The project will include both experimental work and mathematical modelling. At "Project Partner - SER Norway", accurate phase equilibrium data for CO2-rich mixtures will be determined. At "Project Promoter - IT AS CR" , transient behaviour of the same mixtures will be studied.

  • Project results evaluation

The CCSphase project was focused on fundamental research which means no direct applicable outcomes. It concerns research on vapour-liquid equilibria and nucleartion of CO2 mistures which is quite a complicated task to carry out and proves high technical level of the project and the team that implement this task. The team had a high expertise on both sides and included young researchers with dcertain share of women. The project approached the approved objectives. The overall project rating is very good.
