Despite the theoretical appeal of portal particles as a bridge between visible and dark sectors, developing a comprehensive theoretical framework remains challenging. The physics of such portals spans an enormous range of energy scales, from cosmological processes in the early Universe to potential signatures at current and future colliders and even signals in rare processes such as the lepton-number-violating neutrinoless double beta decay (0νββ) or the lepton flavor violating μ → e processes. Traditional approaches often focus on specific aspects of portal particles: either their role in cosmology, their collider phenomenology, or their connection to UV-complete theories. However, a deeper understanding requires unifying these perspectives. For instance, Heavy Neutral Leptons (HNLs) that could explain neutrino masses through the seesaw mechanism might also participate in leptogenesis and dark matter physics, but their non-minimal interactions are often overlooked despite being critical for early Universe dynamics. This project addresses the need for a more comprehensive theoretical framework that can simultaneously handle multiple aspects of portal particle physics: from their fundamental interactions and symmetry patterns, through their cosmological evolution and impact on the early Universe, to their experimental signatures across different energy scales.
