Archaeology within reach. Education and presentation of archaeological cultural heritage.
Project goals
The project will be designed in several levels: 1) The main aim will be the creation of an ideological base (methodology) for a way how to present archaeology or ancient history to the public and enrich the public's awareness of the important position ofour region in prehistoric times through the collections of museums. 2) The second aim of the project will be realisation of the museum's educational program focused on archaeology based on the principles of object-oriented learning and interactive approach to different age and social groups of visitors. Concrete project outputs will be:Realisation of a haptic interactive exhibition. Accompanying programs for visitors, visitors surveys during the exhibition. Experiments detecting visitors´ behavior andtheir reactions. Evaluation.Organization of the workshop. Implementation of the museum´s educational program oriented on general public - different age groups.Building foundations for object and experimental learning (mobile interactive classroom, archaeological suitcases, their regional variations, museum bike, working with archaeological museums). Web portal presenting and popularizing archeology and prehistory and ancient heritage of our countries, presenting project outputs, a base for online communication with schools and the general public.

Hlavním cílem bude vytvoření ideové základny včetně metodiky, jak prezentovat archeologii a pravěké a starověké dějiny veřejnosti, a obohacovat její povědomí o významném postavení našich oblastí v prehistorických obdobích prostřednictvím muzejních sbírek, a vytvářet tak pozitivní vztah ke kulturnímu dědictví. Bude realizován modelový muzejní vzdělávací program zaměřený na archeologické kulturní dědictví na základě principů objektového učení a interaktivního přístupu k různým věkovým a sociálním skupinámnávštěvníků. Konkrétními výstupy projektu budou: Realizace interaktivní a haptické výstavy, kritický odborný katalog a doprovodné programy pro návštěvníky. Návštěvnické průzkumy v průběhu výstavy. Experimenty zjišťující chování návštěvníka a jeho reakce. Vyhodnocení. Organizace workshopu.Realizace muzejního vzdělávacího programu pro širokou veřejnost.Vybudování základny pro objektové a experimentální učení. Webový portál věnovaný popularizaci a prezentaci archeologie a dědictví pravěku a starověku, prezentující výstupy projektu a sloužící jako základna pro obousměrnou online komunikaci se školami a širokou veřejností.
