The project explores the evolving concept of human dignity in the context of digital transformation. It examines legal, philosophical, and doctrinal dimensions of dignity, focusing on digital integrity, digital rights, and digital inequality. Building on prior research into EU digital sovereignty and foundational legal theory, the team will develop a new framework for “digital dignity” as a legally protected value. Through three research modules—Digital Integrity, Digital Rights, and Digital De-colonialism—the project aims to identify legal gaps, propose enforceable rights, and protect vulnerable individuals from structural inequalities in the digital age. Outputs include scholarly publications, legal models, and expert workshops.
