    Systémová biologie germinace streptomycet

    Cílem projektu je analýza procesu germinace bakterie Streptomyces coelicolor na systémové úrovni. Proces germinace, začínající v dormantních sporách, bude analyzován pomocí odběru a kvantitativního měření proteinových a mRNA vzorků v krátkých časových intervalech. Geny exprimované během specifických fází germinace budou identifikovány a mapovány na existující metabolické dráhy. Analýza časových řad exprese genů a proteinů identifikuje klíčové regulátory, pro které budou identifikovány genetické regulační sítě. Struktura metabolických a genetických sítí bude verifikována mutagenezí a kvantitativním měřením genové exprese. Výsledkem budou metabolické a genetické sítě aktivované během procesu germinace.

    The final report summarizes results obtained during five year grant that was focused on characterization of mechanism of germination of S. coelicolor. The main goals of the project were achieved and the obtained experimental results were published in 6 articles in international scientific journals. The cumulative IF of published papers is over 33 and an additional manuscript was presented.
