Increasing participation of the Czech scientists in activities of the international scientific societies - The RNA Society, SGM and FEMS
Project goals
The main aim of the project is to support and enhance visibility of the young Czech scientists and Ph.D. students for international science and to provide them an opportunity to present their work at the international scientific meetings, particularly organized by the recognized scientific societies SGM, FEMS and The RNA Society. Scientists will be encourage to actively participate in activities of home scientific societies CSSM and RNA Club as well as in the already mentioned international societies. The scientific part of the project is focused on control of translation initiation in C. albicans and hepatitis C virus.

Project results evaluation
Project INGO LA10023 helped to organize FEMS Council meeting in Prague in year 2010. Thanks to the project support and support from the RNA Society, 14 students, attendees of the Czech RNA Club meeting, were awarded with RNA Society membership and on-line access to RNA journal. 5 of them obtained substantial support allowing them to visit prestigious RNA Society Conferences.
