Mapping of glioma heterogeneity and infiltration extend by MR imaging biomarkers

  • Annotation in Czech

The objectives of this INTER-COST project are to verify whether segmentation of gliomas based on different MRI biomarkers match each other and the results can mark regions with high-risk behavior and to test the hypothesis that the advanced pattern analysis of multiparametric MRI is able to provide predictive spatial maps of glioma infiltration and predict the regions of early recurrence.

  • Project results evaluation

The project aimed to assess if glioma segmentation using different MRI biomarkers can identify high-risk behavior regions. It involved creating imaging protocols and custom software for tumor segmentation based on perfusion maps. Five publications and conference presentations showcase program members' collaboration with foreign centers.
