Cílem projektu je vytvoření studie proveditelnosti za účelem ověření technologické a ekonomické životaschopnosti průlomové inovace implementace unikátního federated learning frameworks v oblasti genomického výzkumu. Projekt je zaměřen na rozšíření stávajícího nástroje Floxgen o inovativní podporu federovaných výukových rámců, což mu umožní zpracovávat genetická data při zachování pravidel soukromí a v souladu s globálními předpisy pro sdílení dat. To bude zahrnovat přizpůsobení nástroje různým infrastrukturám (místní klastry, cloud atd.), jeho integraci s klíčovými modely federovaného učení a zvýšení jeho užitečnosti v oblasti genetického výzkumu.

Project results evaluation
The technical side of the project is very well-developed, with a deep understanding of technological, market, economic and regulatory aspects. The extensive study uses appropriate methods (benchmark FL frameworks, proof-of-concept, market and investment analysis) and provides a realistic roadmap for implementation, including plans for QMS and compliance. The identified challenges include standardization of genomic data, higher resource requirements for production deployment and compliance with certification requirements, which must be taken into account in the next phase of the project. The project achieved all set goals and declared results, while bringing new and original outputs with high added value, which are suitable for immediate implementation. The solution significantly contributes to the fulfillment of the program objectives and has the potential for transnational application and significant social benefit at the national level.
