Original language description
The study brings the information about faunistic record of Xylosandrus germanus (Blandfort, 1984) on the territory of the Czech Republic. Now known from many western and central European countries (Knížek 2011) and collected in the Czech Republic for thefirst time in 2007 from Bohemia (Knížek 2009). Widely polyphagous species in conifers and broadleaves (Wood & Bright 1992). New species for Moravia.
