On a large middle european population sample, we have analysed common polymorphism within the first intron of the FTO (fat mass and obesity related gene) and we have detected an association between the less common FTO allele and higher BMI values.

Czech description
Na rozsáhlém vzorku středoevropské populace jsme analyzovali běžně se vyskytující variantu v genu pro FTO a zjistili jsme vztah mezi méně často se vyskytující alelou a vyššími hodnotami indexu tělesné hmotnosti.
