Monoclonal antibody (2E12) specifically reactive with an antigen of apoptotic cells.

  • Original language description

Monoclonal antibody (2E12) was prepared by immunization of BALB/c mice with cell of chronic myeloid leukemia cell line MOLM-7. Antibody reacts with an antigen expressed prevalently on apoptotic cells. An epitope recognized by 2E12 antibody on apoptotic cells can be a part of the signaling proces for the ingestion by phagocytes.
