The CCAAT/enhancer binding protein alpha (C/EBPalpha) is a member of a family of leucine zipper transcription factors and plays important roles in myeloid differentiation. Learning more about the precise molecular functions of this transcription factor and how these are affected by leukemogenic mutations should lead to an improved understanding of the cellular functions that are disrupted in patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML)

CCAAT/enhancer binding protein alpha (C/EBPalpha) je členem rodiny transkripčních faktorů obsahujících leucinový zip a hraje důležitou úlohy v diferenciaci myeloidních buněk. Detailnější studium tohoto transkripčního faktoru a jak je ovlivněn mutacemi zahrnutými v leukogeneze by měla usnadnit pochopení jak jsou jeho buněčné funkce porušeny u pacientů s akutní myeloidní leukémií (AML)
