Differences in germination and emergence rates of kochia (Kochia scoparia s.l.) resistant and sensitive to chlorsulfuron and atrazine.
Original language description
Germination of kochia was tested at temperatures of 10, 20 and 30 C. Germination ratesat 10 C were higher in seeeds of a biotype resistant to chlorsulfuroensitive to atrazine (ChlR-AtrS) in 24, 48, 72 and 96 h and of a biotype withmultiple resistance toboth herbicides (ChlR-AtrR) in 24 and 48 h in comparison with seeds of chlorsulfuron and atrazine sensitive biotypes (ChlS-AtrS). No significant differences were determined at 20 C. At 30 C, germination rates of seeds of biotype ChlS-AtrS were higher than in biotypes ChlR-AtrR and ChlR-AtrS withi 24 to 168 h. Emergence rates at a temperature of 20 C in four b otypes of kochia with different sensitivity to chlorsulfuron and atrazine were studies. The highest germination was recorded in two biotypes ChlS-AtrS and in a biotype ChlR-AtrR.
