Original language description
This study deals with freezing behaviour of dormant apple buds. We distinguished different freezing characteristics in separate parts of the dormant buds from naturally frozen plant. Results suggest that dormant buds survive low temperatures in the glassy state.

Czech description
Práce se zabývá typem mrznutí dormantních pupenů. Byly zjištěny různé způsoby mrznutí jednotlivých částí dormantních pupenů. Výsledky napovídají, že dormantní pupeny přežívají nízké teploty ve skelném stavu.
