Longterm persistence of proteolytic activities in frass of Blatella germanica increases its allergenic potential
Original language description
The enzymatic activities (proteolytic, cellulolytic and starch digestion) were analysed at temperatures of 15 °C, 30 °C and 35 °C and at 100% RH and in exposure times 0 (control), 90, 183 and 276 days. The resulting longterm persistence of proteolytic activities in cockroach frass increased their allergenic hazard potential.
