Distribution of different Vrn-B1 alleles in hexaploid spring wheat germplasm
Original language description
In wheat, the transition from the vegetative to reproductive stages is mainly controlled by the series of vernalization, Vrn-1, genes on the homoeologous group 5 chromosomes. In this study, we screened using new diagnostic molecular markers a range of hexaploid spring wheat germplasm for the presence of different Vrn-B1 alleles.
