Original language description
The aim of the study was to establish a cryoprotocol of in vitro grown raspberry genotypes without dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO). The exclusion of DMSO from the cryopreservation process was due to of its potential mutagenic effect, which is contrary to the principle of germplasm preservation. A Plant vitrification solution No. 3 (PVS3) was chosen as a vitrifying agents. The evaluated procedure will be used for preservation of raspberry genotypes in the national cryobank in Prague Ruzyne and as a cryoknife for virus eradication at selected genotypes stored.
