Original language description
The results suggest that the heterotic effect can be predicted on the base of inter-line differences in the growth rate during different growth phases. Simultaneously it was verified that the expression of hybrid phenotype superiority depends significantly on the environment quality ? the better conditions the lesser differences between the hybrids and parental lines.
