The aim of the study was to determine an influence of tested hybrid combinations and sex on growth ability of carcass pigs. Two combinations of hybrid pigs were used in this study: (CLW x CL) x CLW -- sire line and (CLW x CL) x (D x H). On a base of determined and mentioned values it is possible to express that better statistically highly conclusive (P<0.01) growth ability (expressed by average daily gains from born till slaughtering) it was found in carcass pigs of hybrid combination, where hybrid boars (D x H) were used (580 g) in comparison with combination with boars CLW -- sire line (561 g). Statistically significant differences in average daily gains were not found in any period of study (from born till weaning, in pre-fattening, in fattening). Hogs and gilts reached similar daily gains from born till weaning and in pre-fattening. Czech description

Cílem pokusu bylo stanovit vliv testovaných hybridních kombinací a pohlaví na růstovou schopnost jatečných prasat. V pokusu byla použita jatečná prasata dvou hybridních kombinací: (ČBU x ČL) x BO a (ČBU x ČL) x (D x H). Na základě zjištěných a uvedenýchhodnot lze konstatovat, že statisticky vysoce průkaznou (P<0,01) lepší růstovou schopnost, vyjádřenou průměrnými denními přírůstky od narození do porážky, byla zjištěna u jatečných prasat hybridní kombinace s použitými hybridními kanci (D x H) (580 g) oproti kombinaci s kanci plemene BO (561 g). V období od narození do odstavu, v předvýkrmu ani ve výkrmu nebyly zjištěny mezi sledovanými kombinacemi významné rozdíly v průměrných denních přírůstcích. Vepříci a prasničky dosahovali v podstatě stejné dennípřírůstky od narození do odstavu a v předvýkrmu. Ve výkrmu už se projevovala lepší růstová schopnost u vepříků než u prasniček, čehož lze využít k oddělenému výkrmu a tím k optimalizaci porážkové hmotnosti. Vepříci měli ve výkrmu cca o 40
