Selection of suitable mopdels for the estimation of genetic parametres in beef cattle
Original language description
The objective of the paper was to chooose an appropriate model for the estimation of variance and covariance genetics components in beef cattle., The following models was used-the models I and II were individual animal models comprising the direct and maternal additive genetic effects and the permanent maternal environmental effect. The variance nad covariance were estimated by REML.
