Original language description
The genotype × environment interaction for the beef cattle weaning weight has been estimated in data set of 19760 animals. Genotypes were the breeds: Beef Simmental, Hereford, Aberdeen Angus, and Charolais. The environment was divided into 3 classes according production within each breed: Good, Intermediate and Bad. Four statistical models were used to test the genotype × environment interaction. In the data set were 19760 animals. Estimation variance of direct effects was 205.11 ? 267.11, variances ofmaternal effect was 105.92 ? 126.59, covariance among direct and maternal effect was -97.19 ? 69.92, variance of effects maternal permanent environment was 14 ? 356, variance of effects interactions was 14.26 ? 356.35 and variance of residual error 641.55 ? 643.41. From the results its show, that the estimation genetics parameters is affected by interaction genotype × environment, bat residual variance was same.
