We collected questionnaires from 128 stockpersons on 31 Czech dairy farms to examine three questions: (i) whether stockpersons personality traits, their attitudes and their age/experience were associated with farm performance indicators as milk yield, culling or veterinary expenses; (ii) whether stockpersons personalities and attitudes were related to their age, gender and duration of their experiences with cattle; and, (iii) how personality traits of stockpersons differed from Czech population. This study suggests that stockpersons differ in their personalities from general population and that their personalities might affect dairy farm performance.

Souvislosti osobnostních rysů a postojů ošetřovatelů s výkonností stád dojeného skotu

Shromáždili jsme dotazníky od 128 ošetřovatelů na 31 českých farmách dojeného skotu, abychom ověřili tři otázky (i) jestli osobnostní rysy ošetřovatelů, jejich postoje a jejich věk a zkušenosti souvisely svýkonnostními ukazateli jako dojivost, vyřazováníkrav nebo veterinární náklady; (ii) jestli osobnostní rysy a postoje ošetřovatelů neměly vztah kvěku, k celkovým zkušenostem práce sdojeným skotem a, (iii) jak se osobnostní rysy lišily od české populace. Tato studie ukazuje, že osobnostní rysy ošetřovatelů se liší od celkové populace a že osobnostní rysy by mohly mít vliv na výkonnost farmy.
