This study determines the effect of additives based on formic acid and lactic acid bacteria on aerobic deterioration of grass silage. The results confirmed that though formic acid or inoculant or inoculant and enzyme treatments improve the fermentation quality of timothy and orchardgrass silages, formic acid is not prevent the aerobic deterioration of these silages.
