Comparizon of the ORF5 sequnces of Czech PRRS isolates.
Original language description
The nucleotide sequences of the major envelope glycoprotein gene (ORF5) of 7 Czech isolates of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus were determined. In the phylogenetic tree the European isolates were divided into two different clades. TwoCzech isolates (V-501 and V-503) and Italian strain PRRSV 2156 fall into one clade. The remaining European strains comprised the second clade. Surprisingly, two separately clustered strains (V-501 and V-516) were isolated from the same herd.
