Original language description
We highly appreciate the interest of Dr. Vazgiourakis and colleagues in our study. Their thoughtful comments provide us with the opportunity to further discuss important insights from the LANDI-SEP trial. The LANDI-SEP trial represents the first successful step toward a potentially valuable haemodynamic treatment approach in septic shock patients with persistent tachycardia. However, until a standard therapy can be established, there is still a long way to go for researchers and clinicians.
