Development of non-contact thermometry at CMI
Original language description
The Czech Metrology Institute, national metrology institute of the Czech Republic is responsible for maintaining and developing National Standards of the Czech Republic and for ensuring their international traceability, as well as for introducing SI units into practice. Laboratory focused on noncontact thermometry passed with significant progress in recent years and radiation temperature scale of CMI is nowadays realized from -30 °C to 1700 °C by using set of the fixed points, blackbodies, contact and radiation thermometers. Primary ITS-90 temperature scale is realized with the fixed point of Cu. Low temperature range is realized with the fixed points of In, Sn and Al and as an interpolation devices are used thermometers works on different wavelengths(1,6 ?m; 3,9 ?m and (8 to 14) ?m).
