According to our results, the parameters, such as total IgE, and family history about atopy are in significant dependence to the severity of atopic dermatitis. The level of total IgE above 200 IU/ml is recorded in 93% of patients suffering from severe form and the positive data about atopy in family are recorded in 66% of patients with severe form. No dependence was recorded between the severity of atopic dermatitis and the onset of atopic dermatitis.
