  • Original language description

Pentamidine treatment may cause sudden cardiac death by provoking cardiac arrhythmias. It is known that pentamidine disrupt trafficking of hERG potassium channel. Here we demonstrate direct interaction of pentamidine with KIR2.X channel resulting in functional block of IK1 current.
