Zonation of multidrug resistance-associated protein 2 in rat liver after induction with dexamethasone
Original language description
The study is aimed to evaluate the hepatic zonation of multidrug resistance-associated protein 2 (mrp2), an important drug transporter, and its potential changes during the induction of its expression by known inducer, dexamethasone (DEX). The hepatic expression of mrp2 is studied by immunohistochemistry. Overall changes in mrp2 expression and function produced by DEX are monitored using Western blotting and an in vivo clearance study of endogenous conjugated bilirubin, a mrp2 substrate.
Czech name
Zonace multidrug resistance-associated proteinu 2 v potkaních játrech po indukci dexametazonem
Czech description
Studie je zaměřena na hodnocení zonace mrp2 (multidrug resistance-associated protein 2) transportéru v játrech, a potenciálních změn v jeho expresi během indukce dexametazonem. (DEX). Exprese mrp2 je studována pomocí imunohistochemie. Celkové změny exprese a funkce mrp2 navozené DEX jsou hodnoceny Western blotem a studiem in vivo clearance substrátu mrp2, endogenního konjugovaného bilirubinu.
