From Dictionary to Corpus
Original language description
The talk present the way idioms get from a paper dictionary to a corpus. Our examples are based on the Dictionary of Czech Phraseology and Idioms and the synchronic written corpus of Czech SYN2010. We show how the idioms which are listed in the basic ortheir most common form in the dictionary must be converted into a form which will make it possible for them to be indentified in corpus texts and these consequently marked as the corresponding collocations.
