Thorny Issue of Financial Services Between the European Union and the United Kingdom in Brexit Aftermath
Original language description
In March 2018 the Brexit negotiations moved into their second phase which should cover the framework for the future relationship between the European Union and the United Kingdom. However, the final result of the negotiations concerning the financial services is still uncertain and the key questions: "How the Brexit will affect EU financial market?" and "Whether the UK financial services providers will have the access to the single market?" remain unanswered. This articles deals with the current state of play of these issues and a possible future development in mutual relations regarding financial services in the EU-UK relations.
