Original language description
The Bologna process in the Czech Republic is a counterpart of the overall educational transformation and harmonization of educational policy within European integration. The higher education area underwent fundamental changes since 1990. Particular changes were not only caused by the Bologna process but by strategic decisions, legislative and namely by institutional changes or quantitative growth. Attempts to diversify and restructure are going on. Major changes and new laws are expected soon.
