The influence of selective agonists at cannabinoid CB1 receptor and CB2 receptor on sensitization to methamphetamine behavioural effects in mice.
Original language description
In the two present experiments we focused on hypothetically different influence of cannabinoid agonists at both CB1 (high density in the CNS) and CB2 (high density outside the CNS) receptor on sensitization to MET in the models of locomotor/exploratory activity and agonistic behaviour in mice. This has also been motivated by our earlier studies in which agonists of CB2 receptor (palmitoylethanolamide and JWH 015) exhibited in higher doses behavioural - antiaggressive effects.
Czech name
Vliv selektivních agonistů kanabinoidních CB1 a CB2 receptorů na rozvoj sensitizace k účinkům metamfetaminu u myší
Czech description
Výsledky potvrdily pracovní hypotézu, že agonista CB1 receptorů bude vyvolávat zkříženou sensitizaci k behaviourálním účinkům metamfetaminu ve dvou myších použitých experimentálních modelech, zatímco agonsita CB2 receptorů nikoliv.
