Metadata for the Middle Ages : A Network Analysis of Manuscriptorium.com
Original language description
The paper is based on the analysis of manuscripts in Czech repositories of national importance with the use of metadata from Manuscriptorium.com. The manuscripts in question formed a base to presented important remarks about the authors of Bohemian reformation and position of their cluster in the preserved historic funds. On this metadata I could demonstrate complex relations between authors contained in manuscripts, as classical scholastic authors and contemporary theologians of the 14th century. Through analysis of parametrised graphs, as ego networks and clustering of authors, also as centrality metrics I could approach this very specifics of manuscripts collections and show at once content deposed and digitised in Czech Republic.
