  • Original language description

    A simple separation of enzymes from reaction mixture can be achieved using enzymes immobilized on magnetic carriers. The aim of our work was to utilize enzymes immobilized on magnetic carriers for isolation and purification of chromosomal and plasmid DNAs. Properties of DNaseI immobilized on both magnetic bead cellulose and poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate)microspheres were studied. Activities of free and immobilized DNaseI were studied in dependence on pH and the presence of activating bivalent cations. Moreover, biological activity of DNaseI immobilized on both magnetic supports was tested by cleavage of plasmid pUC19 DNA.
