Experimental studies of environmental processes: New practical course.

  • Original language description

The study of the fate of pollutants in the environment consists of a summary of transport within the environmental compartment, transport among compartments, transformation processes, processes of distribution equilibriums and study of properties determining their environmental behaviour. Important role consequently plays experimental studies of these processes. The basic goal of the project is preparing new laboratory course for students of chemistry masters degree programme. This new laboratory courseexamines a number of phase partitionings and introduces the practise of simulation processes that control chemical behaviour in environments including sorption, volatilization, biotic and abiotic transformation.
