Original language description
Considering the factors, which influence processes of teaching and learning English, we attach considerable importance to the category of aim. Therefore, the paper deals with the relevance of the revised version of the Bloom?s Taxonomy of Educational Objectives, published as A Taxonomy for Teaching, Learning and Assessing, for ELT. This paper follows up the authors´ former paper, which focused on teaching and learning English. This consequential paper further explores the potential of the Taxonomy in the area of assessing English language learners´ progress. Apart from providing the rationale, examples of implementing the Taxonomy in practice will be offered.
