    In the article two approaches to blended learning combining the face-to-face instruction and learners´ autonomous work are introduced. The teaching/learning is enhanced by latest ICT technologies, and the SAMR model and the Bloom´s taxonomy of educational objectives were implemented in the processes conducted at the secondary grammar school in General English and at the tertiary institution in English for Specific Purposes subjects. The teaching/learning processes conducted at both institutions are described, and brief teachers´ and learners´ feedback is added.
