    In our work we have dealt with stability of title complexes in aqueous and methanolic solutions of hydrochloric acid studied by kinetic methods. It was found that all the iron(II) complexes are very unstable - they undergo decomposition into starting materials i.e. iron(II) chloride and corresponding mono- and bis(alkylimidazol-5-on-2-yl)pyridine.

    V naší práci jsme se zabývali stabilitou Fe(II) komplexů 2,6-bis- and 2-mono(alkylimidazol-5-on-2-yl)pyridinů v methanolických roztocích chlorovodíku. Stabilitu jsme studovali kinetickými metodami. Bylo zjištěno, že všechny železnaté komplexy jsou velminestabilní a podléhají rozpadu na výchozí látky tj. chlorid železnatý a bis(alkylimidazol-5-on-2-yl)pyridin.
